The routes extend along the river and are of varying degrees of difficulty. On your way you will reach the ancient flour mills, the Beit-Tsida valley – a fascinating archaeological site, fishing canals and sailing, rafting and kayaking sites. The park’s nature life include swamp turtles, fish and various waterfowl.

In the pleasant shade of willow trees, quiet areas and picnic spots can be found also during busy hours.

 

Beaches

The are many wonderful clear water beaches in the Sea of Galilee, or as it is modernly called by locals – the Kinneret – a steady home to great sunrises and amazing sunsets. Recommending you here two of them, on the north shore of the lake – the Bora Bora beach and the Amnun beach.

Bora Bora Beach – shaped like a gradually expanding funnel, Bora-Bora has beautiful clear-waters, and is decorated with palm trees and marvelous views. In this tidy, clean and secluded beach you can relax in spacious lounge areas, sunbath under straw umbrellas, use waterfront swings, dine at the local restaurant and beach bar, enjoy water sports, occasional beach parties and more.

Rob Roy – Go canoeing and kayaking in the Jordan River

Owners Maayan and Guy founded “Rob Roy  – a special Indian canoeing and kayaking center on the banks of the Jordan river, made entirely of natural materials of wood and clay. The site is named after John McGregor’s canoe, who was a British man of Scottish origin who sailed with his boat on the Jordan about 150 years ago.
